Semantic Limited Director Gary Benner developed the many systems used in the Sunshine business to service it's Auckland green waste collection customer base .
The relationship began in 1996, when Sunshine operated with three admin staff, and a couple of drivers. it continued until 2008 when the business was purchased by Waste Management Limited, and the systems developed by Gary were integrated into the larger WAM system.
The Sunshine business was consistently growing, as awareness of "green issues" was becoming more to the fore, and the systems were consequently having to evolve with this growth over the 12 years.
Eventually the system was handling a customer base of over 40,000 clients, over 12 franchisee truck drivers, and an administration staff of only 6.
