Tendercare

Semantic Limited Director Gary Benner developed the many systems used in the Tendercare business with it's upmarket Laundromat in Rotorua.

The relationship began in 1998, when Tendercare decided to open it's new design laundromat in Rotorua, based on similar systems running in Auckland. However a new generation of systems was required.

In conjunction with Tony Blomfield of Auckland, a new generation Point of Sale, with direct integration with the washing and drying machines was produced. With a back Office software package, the system provides a complete turnkey system for day to day operations as well as overall management.

The interface to the machines is achieved using small microcontrollers installed in each washing machine and drier, that replace the key or coin mechanisms usualy fiited in these systems.
